Who is flooding the Caribbean with guns manufactured in the US?

A  post that appeared today on the website stluciatimes.com confirmed my own research, that the Caribbean is part of a human  trafficking, illicit narcotics, and illegal  arms trafficking nexus, that tentacles out from various international locations feeding three-way pipeline, that is authored by various Chinese mafia clans , Mexican narco cartels and the foot soldiers and on the ground facilitators in the Caribbean are the local criminal syndicates in the employ of the apex crime families originating in Mexico and China. The so-called Citizen by Investment programs being the legal means many of the members of the aforementioned international criminal syndicates gain entry into the Caribbean and in turn set licit commercial entities in furtherance of their illicit pursuits. The following quote from the stluciatimes.com sums up the matter succinctly.

“ The Regional Security System (RSS) is particularly concerned about the number of small arms entering its jurisdictions, the organization’s Executive Director has disclosed.

Captain Errington Shurland was on Monday addressing a three-week training course on maritime operations and planning being held at the Barbados Coast Guard headquarters.

Twenty-two officers drawn from the police and defense forces of Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Grenada, and Dominica are attending.

According to Barbados Today, the RSS Executive Director told the gathering that human trafficking and drug trafficking are on the increase.

“We recognize that this is something we have to deal with in terms of a collective strategy and national strategy,” Shurland said.

Shurland noted that the RSS had just embarked on a project with the European Union (EU) that aims to enhance the capabilities of law enforcement and border security personnel, and augment existing projects in correctional facilities that rehabilitate drug offenders and provide them with alternative skills.

The current course is one of a series that will also include training in drug prosecution; leadership and management for senior and middle management of customs, immigration, police, correctional facilities and defense forces; as well as crime scene technician courses for staff of criminal investigation departments”.
