Jamā’at Ahl al-Sunnah li-l-Da’wah wa-l-Jihād: “And Prepare Against Them Whatever You Are Able”.

   

The title of this release is in reference to Qur’anic verse 8:60. Here it is in full: “And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of God and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom God knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of God will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.”

Jamā’at Ahl al-Sunnah li-l-Da’wah wa-l-Jihād aka Boko Haram, released a few days ago (today is 5/15/2017), the following video message.

What is not being acknowledged in the corporate news outlets at all is the fact that the faction of ‘Boko Haram’, that is conducting negotiations with the Nigerian government is the faction aligned to the Islamic State, the video begins with the words ‘Islamic State’, and one of their logos is visible at the beginning, and their flag logo is shown throughout at top far right of the video.

This video is clear evidence that IS, is seeking to expand its ‘caliphate’, into West Africa. As IS  begins to lose more territory in Syria and Iraq its activity in West Africa and elsewhere will only increase. Similarly the IS affiliates who were recently deported from Turkey, are a huge security risk for the entire Caribbean, since they were all living in Syria for more than a year and all the males in that group would have been exposed to military combat in Syria, those that were not active fighters would still have received some type of military training, which is standard procedure in IS.

The men in this video are top commanders within the ranks of Boko Haram and are actively threatening the government of Nigeria in the video with more attacks. The languages used in the video in the beginning (chanting) are Arabic and English, the language spoken throughout is either Hausa, Fulani or a mixture of both.
