Fifty Cent to Executive Produce BMF Movie.

Another example of the huge pull and popularity that BMF and specifically Big Meech still enjoy.
Fifty Cent the consummate businessman is set to direct the movie Welcome to The South, a tale about the rise and fall of the infamous BMF drug crew/Hip-Hop label. Fiddy was green-lighted by the big man himself Big Meech.
50 Cent (government name: Curtis Jackson) is one of the more business minded rappers that we’ve had. When he’s not releasing music (most recently his album, Animal Ambition and upcoming G-Unit projects after their reunion), Fif is getting busy in the boardroom. We all remember his business dealing with Vitamin Water and he’s even been in competition with his former bosses, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, in the headphone game with SMS Audio.
Most recently, 50 has dove into the television production industry, introducing the popular series, Power to the Starz network and announced selling a show to Comedy Central. He has even used knowledge attained during his now sour friendship with boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather to promote a fight on ESPN’s “Friday Night Fights” program.
BMF: Welcome To The South is said to follow BMF’s interstate run from the 80’s to mid-200’s as top dog in the drug trade, for which “Big Meech” and “Southwest T” Flenory are serving 30 prison bids. Besides making millions upon millions of dollars and partying and splurging on levels incomprehensible to everyday people, BMF is also credited with being influential in the music careers of rappers such as Young Jeezy, T.I. and Fabolous. Fif hinted at the project in an , Instagram post, he wrote, “I’m out of control now, watch my next move. STRATEGY #smsaudio #animalambition #power.”
