NO MORE WORK RESIDENT PERMITS FOR EXOTIC DANCERS.

The headline of this post was taken from today’s edition of The Daily Herald. Frequent readers of this blog know that I post frequently about prostitution aka “exotic dancing” on Sint Maarten. I have shown from documented evidence available in the (Public Domain) that sex slavery and in particular human trafficking are very serious international human rights crimes perpetrated by government policy on Sint Maarten. I will now quote from the current Justice Minister Richardson Gibson, publicly acknowledging that the current policy of Sint Maarten’s government flagrantly violates international norms and that Sint Maarten’s government can be held as a “conspirator in committing a crime”   pertinent to (Human Slavery) under the current policy, that is a devastating admission for any government official to make. The policy of government translates to the following the government of Sint Maarten is aiding and abetting human trafficking, sexual slavery and financial crimes, as a result of their socially corrosive policy which is deliberately designed to foster a climate conducive of and tolerant of prostitution, sexual slavery et al. I will quote here from the so called “Minister of Justice” on Sint Maarten and liberally from the article from Thursday, January 28, 2016: “ PHILLIPSBURG-Exotic dancers desirous of operating at adult entertainment clubs in Sint Maarten will no longer be issued with residence permits and employment permits to ply their trade on Sint Maarten”. Several things is immediately apparent in the language of the so called “new policy”, first there is a deliberate attempt by the newspaper carrying the article to make those unfamiliar with the reality on the ground think that the article is about licenses for exotic dancers, no mention is made of brothels or whorehouses, since those “enterprises” are only referred to as clubs, anyone who has ever been in a whorehouse anywhere on Sint Maarten knows that they were simply clapboard affairs, that have only recently been upgraded to in some instances motel type accommodations capable of housing large amounts of prostitutes at any given time and their clientele. As I have indicated previously on this website in “MY REBUTTAL TO ISLAND TIMES” and “HOW A LAWYER GAINED ENTRY INTO THE LUCRATIVE PROSTITUTION INDUSTRY AS A RESULT OF HIS POSITION AS MINISTER OF JUSTICE ON SINT MAARTEN”. The so-called exotic dancers are in most cases prostitutes they were never brought to work in a whorehouse to do strip teases and lap dances they were brought in to have sex in exchange for money period. In the case of the actual strip clubs like Bada Bing, the actual stripper’s aka exotic dancers are not “officially” prostitutes but many of them do function as prostitutes. The so called “New Policy”, of the Sint Maarten government does not address nor solve the problem, since no Colombian or Dominican whore and uneducated female in those countries largely from, the lowest economic strata, are actually going to apply for a license of any type to work on Sint Maarten period from overseas, people don’t even do this for so called “legal work”, to expect a whore to do so is ludicrous. The owner of the whorehouse or strip joint pays a lawyer a fee and the lawyer in consultation with government will figure out again through the subversion of the very law they are sworn to uphold decide the wording of “policy” and then paperwork for a certain quota of whores is drawn up and those women are flown in here from their countries of origin. The actual recruitment process amounts to entrapment and forced labor in nearly every instance except when “exotic dancers” are flown in via agencies in the US and yes as far away as Russia most of the Russian agencies are linked to the Russian Mafia. The recruitment of prostitutes in for instance Colombia to work on Sint Maarten is as follows. A representative of a brothel owner goes to Colombia or the Dominican Republic, in some cases they even advertise in the local papers there that they are looking for waitresses to work in restaurants and hotels, or in rare cases they claim they are seeking exotic dancers, in others they have a steerer on the ground who steer them to women who are vulnerable and can be manipulated into work in prostitution on Sint Maarten. In the case on women who are brought here under false pretenses to work as prostitutes that constitutes sexual slavery and human trafficking. The onus of the burden lies on the Sint Maarten Government to properly screen the brothel owners and to determine if the females brought here were coerced, duped or forced to come to Sint Maarten. In all cases of brothel work on Sint Maarten the females passports are seized and they are told that they owe for the expenses in bring them here, again in the case of those not aware that they were going to be prostituting themselves the government is yet aiding and abetting in crimes against humanity in that there is absolutely no screening process. The “New Policy” is nothing new it is simply a seemingly clever and shiesty way to avoid on the face of it government responsibility for its continued aiding and abetting and propping up of criminal elements in the country, and their dependents with continuing their multi-million dollar business, with full legal protection on the local level, while internationally the government i.e. those in power on Sint Maarten presently can be brought before the International Human Rights Courts as co-conspirators in an ongoing criminal enterprise. As I have stated previously the so-called Minister of Justice Richardson Gibson has openly stated that as the present policy stands it is in violation of international law.
